I am already starting to freak out over the house. I can’t tell you how much I HATE this… I hate feeling out of control and just having to sit here playing the waiting game. There is nothing left for me to do but wait…and wait…and wait… GRRRRRR! We gave the bank until mid-October to decide if they want to sell to us or proceed with the foreclosure. How will I last until then? What will we do if the bank doesn’t decide before the deadline.
We are having to plan like we aren’t going to make it in time to get that $8,000 upfront house buying rebate so we’re in SUPER SAVE MONEY MODE. We’ll end up having to borrow the closing cost money from Jase’s mom then turn right around and pay her back after closing.
My tummy is in a constant state of upset right now and I am chugging copious amounts of peppermint tea hoping to settle it down.
Thanks for letting me have my whine. I needed to get it out before my head went BOOM.
Now I am off to find a ticker to count down mom and dad’s arrival!!! They hadn’t visited in YEARS and now this year we get them TWICE?!!!? LOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!

House buying is all about waiting, and it simply sucks!
I hope you find out sooner than mid Oct, and that it is good news!
Try ginger tea for an upset tummy.
I know the feeling, you want the house so much, but you can’t do anything to control things. Patience is not one of my virtues.
Hoping for you girl!
House buying is stressful, no two ways about it. I’d be carted off by the guys in the little white coats if I were in your boat, so I think you’re doing pretty well just chugging the peppermint tea.
Keeping my fingers crossed that the bank gets off their collective asses and actually sells the house to you!
Sending you lots of good JUJU for the house! I’ll even write the bank a letter stating to please make a decision. You’re welcome ;o) YAY for a parental visit! WOOOOO!!!!
*HUGS*
Sorry the house stuff is such a pain in the arse…sending more happy Juju vibes your way.
(And Tums.) (And Vodka.) Lol.
A visit from your parents again, SUPER cool! (I’m hope hope hoping my family will be able to visit for Thanksgiving this year,we’ll see.)
Good Luck! I hope that they get back to you before the deadline and that all goes well!
