Yep! I’m sick…again. Hopefully it’s more of a cold thing and not a pig thing.

Kyle’s internet based schooling is going great! It’s really been a smooth transition and he’s loving having extra free time after he gets his work done. No fluff just straight lessons then he’s done for the day.

Becca is strange… She LOVES that she gets to shower after gym class in school. This child is not mine! I would do anything to get out of dressing out for gym. She keeps saying that she’s thinking about trying the internet school next year, but I am doubtful. She loves hanging out with friends too much to give it up. Guess we’ll see… if her grades slip I have no problems yanking her out.

Seth is Seth. He’s excited that we’re going to the book fair tomorrow after school.

I must admit this was always my favorite school time. Walking into our tiny library to see those huge metal boxes opened up exposing all the book filled shelves inside. We never had a lot of money when I was a kid for an all out book shopping spree but Mom and Dad always made sure we’d get at least one book each.

Every year I take the kids to the school after hours to hit up the treasure trove of books available. They are always allowed to buy a book when we go to Wal-mart but Book Fair days are still the best.

The kids and I pile our arms full of books and then go through those stacks to determine which ones we really want then head to the checkout. They are only allowed straight up books. No posters, electronic gadgets, or cds. Love it!!!!
