The trip was awesome! We didn’t call the house right before we arrived so we were able to sneak up and surprise the kids. I’ve never been hugged so much in my life! My cheeks are raw from all the kisses Seth gave me. The kids had a great time with Nana and Papa but I think we were missed a lot.

I spent a lot of time sitting outside with my mom, my brother, my sister-in-law and her mother. Just sat out there and talked and laughed and caught up. It was great! When we had to leave I almost cried. I never cry! I just wanted to throw my mom in the back of the car and take off.

We went to my Aunt Jackie’s beautiful river front home and had a craw-fish extravaganza! It’s been a long time since I have had good craw-fish! YUMMMMMMMY. We had an awesome time and Jackie and I hugged no less than 15 times. I love her so much!

Jase and I took the kids to GameStop and bought them GameBoys and 3 new games each. Kyle camped out for HOURS on the couch playing his games. He ever moved never made a peep. Mom play yelled at me, “Why didn’t you tell me that’s all it would take?! I’d have gone the second day and bought them those damn things!!!” LMFAO! Sorry, Mom!!!

I got to see my niece, Riley. OMG she is so beautiful! The brightest blue eyes and cutest wicked grin I have ever seen. Becca was all over that baby. Becca amazed us all with how well she took care of Riley. She’s going to make an excellent babysitter one day. It helped that Riley is such a good baby! She only fussed when it was sleepy time. She got in her new walker and just zoomed around minding her own business! I had to check Becca’s suitcase to make sure she wasn’t baby smuggling.

On the ride home the kids were SOOOOOO good! Not a cross word…not a peep. I’m so damn proud of them!

In a few hours Jase and I will pack up our car and hit the road for an 8 hour trip.

Destination: KIDS!

Mom called today and told me all the kids were homesick and couldn’t wait to see us again. That makes me feel awesome! I figured we’d have to bribe them into coming back home with us.

Mom has decided that having 3 kids for three weeks is going on her Murtaugh list (You know.. I’m too old for this shit.)

I’m feeling better in the summer cold department but Aunt Flo showed up for visit right on time. I swear every trip, every holiday, every Guaranteed Sex Day (Anniversaries, birthdays, Valentines.) she shows up waving her bright red flag and giving me the finger.

I asked Jase that if it were possible would he do me a favor and take “the curse” upon himself just once so I could get a break. He looked at me a few moments, took my hand, and said ” Sweetheart, you know I’d do anything for you. Take a bullet, jump on a live grenade, cut off my own arm, if it meant you’d be ok. But HELL NO I will not do that.”

I think me gripping the arm of the chair so hard that I left fingernail marks in it while doing some pretty fucked up sounding Lamaze breathing/groaning to get through the cramps freaked him out a bit. It did go on for hours so I understand why he was looking at me like I grew horns and a tail.

I think I now understand that Meatloaf song. Maybe his wife asked him to take on Mother Nature for her.

*Sorry to Dad and Brian if you read this. Suck it up you’re grown men and should know about this kind of stuff by now!

I’ll be taking my laptop, my Blackberry, and anything else I can think of to stay in touch with you guys while I am gone. Everyone please have a safe and happy weekend.

Literally. 4 days before I leave for MS and I am struck down with a summer cold. SUMMER COLD?!

What kind of BS is that?!

Throat hurts esp. the part next to my jaw when I touch it. Sneezing. Eyes watering/burning. Heads stuffy.

I’m BORED people. Humor me!

I have noticed a trending topic among the blogs lately. Rude people asking dumb questions to pregnant women. I have been guilty of this a few times when I was much younger around family. The best rule of thumb is to not mention something until the MTB (Mother-To-Be) broaches the subject. What’s going on in her tummy is HER business! If she wants you to know something she’ll tell you. I’ve never been the type to go up to a preg. lady/new mother and ask a bunch of questions. I just smile at them and move on.

This goes for ALL questions about someones reproduction. IT’S NOT YOUR BUSINESS!
Do NOT ask when they are going to start a family. You don’t know the back story or heartache these people may have been through trying to start a family.
Okay, you want grandchildren, well guess what? They would do anything to give them to you! Just STOP!
Wow! They are having twins! Great! Why do you feel the need to know if they are “natural”? No, they are fucking robots!

Please people stop and think before open your big mouths!

For Parents Of Multiples

Sorry for the lack of posts but I am bored out of my skull. For the past three days I have just watched Jase play Fable II and read three books. I need more books, damn it!
We did go out today and hit a thrift store and Goodwill. I like looking for bargains since I know Target “donates” unsold stuff there. Jase said those nasty old stores depress him. Doesn’t help that Goodwill plays 50’s tunes at a 1,000 decibels.

At the thrift store I did find a black and red tulip print like the one I have over my bed in my room only 50% bigger for only $.27. Now I just need to find a frame for it. Bet you guys thought I had a mirror over my bed! WRONG! I broke that a few years ago.

I did add a bookshelf to my blog so you can see what I have been reading if you were interested. Of course it doesn’t show everything, just a few highlighted books. As you can see I like just about anything witch, vampire, ghost, or were-animal related. Love me some paranormal reads! I really enjoy time travel romances but haven’t found all that many. I especially like when they travel FORWARD to our time, as apposed to a chick traveling BACK to the times of no toilets and gruel for dinner. I don’t care how romantic they try and make it sound, a chamber pot is still a chamber pot!

I just found an E-book called “Loving Who” about Doctor Who. I think it’s a fan fiction type thing but so far it’s very promising! Anything that shows Doctor Who in a romantic light is okay by me! Poor guy never gets any on the show. After 900 years on the Tardis I’d go a little bonkers without a little nookie.

Can you tell I miss the munchkins? I still don’t know WHY though. I think it’s because I am jealous that they are up there with my mom and I am not. 11 more days. That’s the chant heard around here.

Mom says they had an awesome time swimming at my aunts birthday/4th of July party. They swam til 10pm, came home and passed the FUG out! They went and saw Ice Age 3-D with my dad the day before and mom got some much needed rest. Thanks Dad!

So far Mom hasn’t called screaming, “Come and get these damn kids!” so I think all is good!
