To bring you more crap that will rot your brain!

Yay my shows are back with new episodes! Stupid holidays messing with my viewing pleasure.

Becca is chasing Kyle around the house trying to pry the last Mo’Mint out of his grubby little hands. This could get UGLY. It’s damn fun to watch, though.

My postcards had a slight hiccup. Apparently I am not photo edit savvy enough to know what resolution I should be sending them. I am trying my hardest to get it right so I can continue my journey into your home! So more time for people to sign up! I’ve already found a new blog to read because of this!

Please send all your sticky thoughts to Miracle in the Making. She’s on the verge of finding out if this Clomid cycle worked. Please let it have worked. Please, please, please!

I joined Kristin’s Book Challenge and pledged to read 50 books this year. I put a bookshelf on my side bar so I can keep track of what I’ve read. Already 3 books in YAY! I’m just happy that any book qualifies and it doesn’t have to be Shakespeare or any “deep thought” stuff. I like my fluff!

I’m not officially on a diet but I am trying to lose weight and stop eating so much candy and snack items. Next up, cutting down on my Coke intake. My ulcer will thank me. Don’t worry no tofu or bean sprouts for me in the near future.

I have become an Apples to Apples addict. I make Jase and the kids play with me for hours. I blame Aunt Debi for introducing me to this game. I’ve bought the Party Crate and the A2A Junior game. Now I downloaded the online version. Addict!

This was my favorite book when I was in 6th grade. My teacher would read aloud to the class every day and I was hooked. I ended up checking the book out of the school library and reading it myself because I couldn’t wait to see what was coming next. At the end of the year I came to school to get my last report card and my teacher had the second book in the series and a bookmark waiting for me. She didn’t do anything like that for any of the other kids and it made me feel super special. She was also the one that pointed out I had a vision problem that led me to wear pimped out geek glasses.

Last week in Kyle’s online Lit. class we had to choose a book from a list for him to read and they set his curriculum to follow that book. I saw “A Wrinkle in Time” on the list and Kyle agreed he’d read that one. Off to the bookstore we went to buy him his very own copy. Since I lent the book out and never got it back we didn’t have a copy here and I haven’t read it in years.

He just finished it and he LOVED it. He wanted to read it again and I suggested we buy all the books in the series. We found a listing on Amazon that had all 5 of the books in one hardcover volume. YAY!

I will be reading all of them again!

What was your favorite book as a child and how long has it been since you’ve read it? Is it weird to revisit something you used to love as a child as an adult? I have found with movies that the ones I used to love now kinda suck. I hope that’s not the case here.

Sorry for the lack of posts but I am bored out of my skull. For the past three days I have just watched Jase play Fable II and read three books. I need more books, damn it!
We did go out today and hit a thrift store and Goodwill. I like looking for bargains since I know Target “donates” unsold stuff there. Jase said those nasty old stores depress him. Doesn’t help that Goodwill plays 50’s tunes at a 1,000 decibels.

At the thrift store I did find a black and red tulip print like the one I have over my bed in my room only 50% bigger for only $.27. Now I just need to find a frame for it. Bet you guys thought I had a mirror over my bed! WRONG! I broke that a few years ago.

I did add a bookshelf to my blog so you can see what I have been reading if you were interested. Of course it doesn’t show everything, just a few highlighted books. As you can see I like just about anything witch, vampire, ghost, or were-animal related. Love me some paranormal reads! I really enjoy time travel romances but haven’t found all that many. I especially like when they travel FORWARD to our time, as apposed to a chick traveling BACK to the times of no toilets and gruel for dinner. I don’t care how romantic they try and make it sound, a chamber pot is still a chamber pot!

I just found an E-book called “Loving Who” about Doctor Who. I think it’s a fan fiction type thing but so far it’s very promising! Anything that shows Doctor Who in a romantic light is okay by me! Poor guy never gets any on the show. After 900 years on the Tardis I’d go a little bonkers without a little nookie.

Can you tell I miss the munchkins? I still don’t know WHY though. I think it’s because I am jealous that they are up there with my mom and I am not. 11 more days. That’s the chant heard around here.

Mom says they had an awesome time swimming at my aunts birthday/4th of July party. They swam til 10pm, came home and passed the FUG out! They went and saw Ice Age 3-D with my dad the day before and mom got some much needed rest. Thanks Dad!

So far Mom hasn’t called screaming, “Come and get these damn kids!” so I think all is good!

Stay tuned for the next installment of Bore You To Tears Theater!

Anyone else already have their popcorn ready for the premier of TrueBlood this Sunday night?!!?!?! I’ve even got my husband and my best friend Nate hooked. I think they mostly tune in for the gratuitous sex but they still watch and that makes me happy!

I’ve been an avid reader of Mrs. Harris’ books for years and have already finished her latest release. I can’t wait for the new season of the show to start so I can immerse myself in the Bon Temps world once again.

I will probably be watching Sunday’s episode live since HBO has no commercials. If anyone wants to tweet with me while it’s on let me know lol.

I heart Sam!!!!
